Sick of you.

Today I paid rent, interviewed for a room I hope to God I get, locked myself out of my apt. for 5 hours, almost finished a whole book during my wait, and now I'm doing laundry in preparation for my new job on friday. I didn't work out today, but will for a good length of time tomorrow. I also had to drop a class to accomodate this new job, please I hope this works. I'm not sure who I'm praying to, but I hope it's someone that actually cares-

I just realized something. For the average individual, let's say, around their 20's going to school and working, 3/4 of their days are spent running useless errands, trying to get an education for the acquisition of material things. The value placed upon these items is intrinsinc so some are even more hell bent then others to achieve "success". Doesn't that sound so empty?

What is happiness to everyone?
To me, it's loving everything.. music.. moments.. images.. sometimes, people.

Are people defined by their "things"?
Is anyone really happy?

I like how everything's monitored, as to who views your blogs, interests, pictures.. it's like myspace & livejournal, except not as annoying and no sleazy fools tryna holler at you. Okay enough ghetto norcal slang; what did I do today. Well I was lucky enough to use REGIONAL TRANSIT oh yea baby.. nothing like a lightrail & transients to start your day right. So I already talked about the job interview, sooo skip to the middle of the day, I got a library card. Mind you I haven't had one since 2nd grade, when I started picking up the habit of drinking jack&coke and smoking cigars- because I'm so ghetto you know. Anyhow, I checked out a number of useful & not so useful books ranging from Anne Rice's unusually homosexually undertoned vampire sagas.. I hear this one isn't so bad, and it's about the vampire Armand. No just because I read anne rice does not mean I role play dungeons & dragons or wear capes, so don't ask. Then I got Harry potter, sorcorer's stone, can't lose there. Stencil guide.. and god forbid, I got some little house on the prairie books. I cringed a little but seriously, I haven't read that shit in daaaays... and well, standing there, in the young adult fiction section.. i just wanted it really bad. Now that I re-read them, I just feel slightly gay. But let's not tell anyone. So nothing else happened today, but tomorrow, I'll do something exciting. Something exciting and non-self destructive. I'll probably be hanging out with jaNal, and crazy things always happen when we're together.

People on the lightrail just don't act right.

Otherwise today was good, regional transit isn't too bad; well, yea it's pretty bad, but considering I need to learn a lesson... mm, no, it's still bad regardless.

I think I got the loan originating job. I'm supposed to call back tomorrow stating why it is I think I'd be an asset to the company and why I want to work there. For now I'll be looking for weekend jobs too. I'll call starbucks right now speaking of which.
